Happy Valentine's Day

I woke up this AM to a precious son carrying a hand-made sign that my sweet, thoughtful husband made!!

Of course I circled YES- I will always be my husband's Valentine and I am honored that my son wants me to be his valentine also=) =)

Imagine my SURPRISE... and UTTER DELIGHT when I read the back of the note and opened the card up- A HALF DAY AT THE SPA complete with manicure, pedicure and some type of massage- WOW!!! My husband really outdid me this yr- All he got was a $4.50 sweet card with a handwritten note... and a kiss of course!!

We have been checking into wagons lately, as Tal does not really like to be in his stroller when we walk, so we purchased this and it just happened to arrive today so I guess its Tal's Valentine's gift!!! =)

He has not been able to go for a ride in it yet, but he did enjoy singing "Sailing, Sailing...." and rocking the boat or wagon before Daddy put the wheels on!

ha! that is so creative and cute! Go, reeves! I was laughing out loud at the sandwich board sign idea... that's great.
Congrats on the cool wagon! Cade JUST got that same one! And Emma has it too- it's like THE wagon! Welcome to the club... you'll love it! Wish yall were closer and the boys could go for a ride together! I'm so glad you keep blogging! We love keeping up on your life.

So sweet! Looks like you had a great Valentine's Day. We love the sign and what an awesome surprise. And yes...IN is quite different than TX. I think at this time last year spring had definitely arrived in TX and right now we have 2 more months until spring is sprung. But it's worth it to be close to family!! :0)

Hi there! That is the sweetest little picture! What a thoughtful husband you have. He's training your little one well. I saw your comment on Julie's blog and it led me to your page. I don't think we've ever met... but I have a random question... where did you get your baby's crib bedding? (I could see it in the backgroud of one of the pics) We're going to have a little boy in July and I'm searching far and wide for the right bedding and I would love to know where you got his and what it is called. It's so hard to find something without STUFF all over it. Would you please please please email me? My email is jessryan828@gmail.com. I would really appreciate it! Thank you so much!

It amazes me how God uses babies to turn men into big softies. Mary Addison is not even here yet, and Ed is already putty in her hands! I love it!

Rebecca - I use Corel Photoshop and I love it. I know with Adobe (which MIL has) she can do DVD's. ;-)

hey- i saw your comment on my blog and thought i'd reply. i'm guessing you found me by way of kristi, but i could be wrong. my mom has photoshop elements, which is a simpler & less expensive version than the whole-shebang photoshop. she ordered it from amazon... anyway, she has had SO MUCH FUN doing these scrapbook pages! to answer your question, she just saves them as a .jpg and prints them on photo paper. she made a whole book of ethan's first year and is making caroline's as we go. i take the pictures & send them to her, and she makes the book. (pretty good arrangement, i think!!) :) she also did a really great heritage book for my grandmother. she has found SO MANY websites where you can download free little backgrounds and doodads that go on the pages. i would say it is just as fun as regular scrapbooking, but significantly less expensive and less messy!! and if you mess up something, you just click undo! she also made a slideshow with the pages (very easily) and put them on a cd, and we watched them on our tv- it was pretty neat! so anyway, hope that answers your questions. i think digital scrapbooking is a perfect answer for digital photography & busy moms!! glad that you found my blog. i hope to read yours when i get a minute of spare time. (what's that??) :) let me know if you have any other questions. God bless.
