A NEW HOME

Well, I have TONS of pictures to share with everyone but blogger has not been working right and I have spent way too much time trying to figure this out!!!!!!!! I have been trying for 2 days now to post and I can find them but for some reason when I pull up my post and tell the computer to post it- it DOES NOT WORK- ARHHHHHHHHHH!!!! talk about aggravating so I am going to try something different and see if it works!!

WE ARE HERE. Tallon had a excellent 1 yr dr checkup in Dallas last Monday morning. (We went to the Dr prior to heading for SC) He weighed in at 18 lbs and 14 oz- still 5% for weight and for height but we knew we are not going to have a big kid so I am pleased that he is HEALTHY and HAPPY- just the way God designed him!! He handled his shots like a champ- all 4 of them!!! Unfortunately, the Dr warned me that with the MMR shot that it would be 7-9 days before he would show any signs of reaction and we were doing good, until day 7..... Tallon has been running a 103.5 fever the past 2 mornings and a little fussy. I think he is also getting in another tooth and once he gets a dose of tylenol and a dose of motrin the temp comes down and he is fine for the rest of the day. So, who knows what is going on, I am just giving him LOTS of extra hugs and attention but I AM looking forward to getting to sleep past 5:45 AM sometime SOON hopefully=)

I am going to attempt to post some pics of our new home and Tallon's nursery- YES_ we finally have a room for Tallon without a computer and guest bed! We LOVE our rental home- it is 3 bedrooms with a good size den, kitchen and best of all- SCREENED-IN PORCH- TALLON'S NEW FAVORITE PLACE!!! It is soo nice to have somewhere outside to let him walk around and play ball and we have enjoyed several meals out there as the weather here has been soo wonderful, slightly cool in the mornings and evenings and warming up during the day. We are so thankful to God for his provisions for us throughout our time in Dallas and here as well!! We miss our friends in Dallas LOTS but look forward to what God is going to do with us and thru us in Florence, SC.our den- the couch is opposite the chairs in front of a window

The Kimberley Family

Tim and Patty where 1 of the first couples we met in Dallas and we instantly hit it off. Patty had attended CIU for her undergrad ( different yrs from Reeves) and her husband Tim is attending DTS. They were part of our Bible study every single time and we always enjoyed their company, laughter and wisdom. They are currently completing their last yr at DTS and I am already praying that a job in SC will open up so we can be closer again=) =) Their little girl Hannah is only 6 weeks younger than Tal so we enjoyed have play dates this past yr!! Thanks for the delicious lasagna and having us over before we left town. If you are ever in SC- give us a call- Tal would love to play!!! We can not wait to meet the new little Kimberley who is on the way!! Posted by Picasa

Card making

Michelle is one of the most creative people I know. I have been admiring her wonderful home-made cards for well over a yr now but between her work schedule as an OT and my schedule with work and Tal- we were never able to find a good time for her to show me how to make cards. Well, since she has been on bedrest with her little girl Sydney- we finally found some time before I left for SC. Don't worry- she stayed on the couch and we took it easy- mostly just chatted, enjoyed each others company and we did manage to make a few cards- They look soo neat and I have already used 3 of them to send to people!!! Thanks for sharing your creative skills with me Michelle- I miss you, but am thankful you have now reached week 33 with Sydney- She will be here before you know it!!! I can not wait to see pictures of her. Have you started a blog for her so all of your friends outside of Dallas can stay updated?!?!? =) Posted by Picasa
