Tallon has discovered that just because an object is off the floor, it doesnt mean he can't get to it. He has become quite the climber/crawler and is very adventerous! He has no problem getting under the coffee tables but "yells for help" when he decides he is ready to move on to other territory! Those of you with younger children- you have NO CLUE how unsafe your house is until you see where all your child goes and what he finds!!

I know, I know- Reeves can not understand why i always grab the camera to take a picture instead of quickly getting our child away from the danger!!! Tallon's expressions on his exploration are just too fun to not catch a picture of!! =)

It did not take Tallon long to figure out he can go under the bookshelf to get into the dining room! You gotta love the "1 foot stuck in the pj's"- he is just too busy to slow down and let mom get the foot out so he can travel easier!! Posted by Picasa

Playmates!

Hannah came over to play Saturday night while her parents went out on a much deserved date! Tallon has played with Hannah before at playgroup but this was the first time that we had another child over to play at our house with Tallon's toys. It was very interesting to watch them interact!! Tallon seemed to want WHATEVER Hannah had (several times it was a toy that he has not even been interested in for weeks!!) GO FIGURE! Hannah is 6 weeks younger than Tallon so she enjoyed watching Tallon climb and crawl all around her and over her (a few times)! All in all, it was alot of fun, but Reeves and I are not sure that we could handle twins!!!!!!!  Posted by Picasa

update

Well, we received word today that we will not be heading to Houston. We are looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us! Still praying for the right job to come along for Reeves! ( Maybe we will end up closer to family after all!?!?) We treasure your prayers and are looking forward to getting to spend some more time this summer with our friends in the Dallas area!! Tallon seems to be a little bit better tonight? We had a lot of fun playing peek-a-boo and singing tonight! He is already asleep! I think that with all of his activity- crawling and pulling up, Tallon seems to be exhausted by 7 pm! IT is nice to have some time to get some things done at night!

HI EVERYONE!

Hi everyone! Mommy thought it would be fun for you to see all the places I go in a day!! They are in no particular order ( I am trying out a new system for placing pictures on the blog- It only lets you put 1 picture on at a time but is way faster than how I was doing things earlier- let me know what you think!) I found this new spot this morning- pretty cool huh?!? ( except someone- TALLON- can't get himself out from under here without a little help!!)

A trip to the Dr.

Yes, Tallon was very happy to be at the Dr's office today! He seems to really like the place- or atleast he enjoy playing with all the paper and seeing himself in the extra large mirror!
on a side note: Dr. said that there is NO ear infection ( YEAH!) but Tallon prob has a cold on top of teething and for mommy to just HANG IN THERE!!

update

Tallon still has a runny nose and some diarrhea. I can't feel any teeth yet, but hoping tom will be a less clingier, happier day for all in our household!! I thought about trying to catch some of his sad, pitiful faces but did not want to subject him to any more torture than he already seems to be having right now!!! From what I remember the last time he got a tooth- it took about 1 week for him to return completely back to his normal, happy and non-runny nose self! 1 week will be on Thursday- YEAH_ hopefully only 2 more days to go!!
We are still waiting to hear back regarding Reeves possible job in the Houston area. Would appreciate ALL prayers right now for patience as both of us are ready to know the answer one way or the other!

I have taken the plunge!

I am now officially a "minivan mom"!!
(and Reeves is happily driving a much safer car also)

Tallon has a new cousin!!!

Tallon has a new cousin and Reeves and I have our first niece!! God has blessed Collin and Aron with a beautiful baby girl- Clara Elizabeth. The pictures I have seen are soo precious and all seem to be doing wonderful- Makgill even said that he "wants to take her home"!! Clara arrived around 1:30 this afternoon and weighed in at 6 lbs, 8 oz! We are soo excited for ya'll and praying for this new little one- that she too will grow up to know the Lord as her Savior! Can't wait to meet little Clara in person in a few weeks
love,
Reeves, Rebecca and Tallon
