She's Here!!!!!

Hey, y'all! It's Aron, and I am SO HAPPY to announce for Reeves, Rebecca, and Tallon that Tessa Nell Cannon has arrived!!! And she is breath-takingly BEAUTIFUL! Thank you, Lord for this brand new beautiful baby girl! Here are her stats...

Time of birth: 7:51am
Weight: 7 pounds, 6 ounces
Length: 19 inches

The section went really well and we were able to see the sweet little thing as Reeves wheeled her to the nursery just after birth. That's one PROUD Daddy there!

She's GORGEOUS!

Tess spent some time in the nursery being weighed and warmed up. The whole time she was in the bassinet she kept putting her hands in her mouth, sticking her tongue out, and rooting around. That girl was ready to nurse! Thankfully she didn't have to wait long. Tess joined her very happy, very proud Momma in the recovery room. And she nursed like a CHAMP! That girl has got it!

The fierce love that comes over a Momma immediately after giving birth is just the most beautiful thing to me. Rebecca is head over heels for her girl! And doesn't she look so pretty?!?!

Tess has a head full of dark curls! That's something we never thought we would see in a Cannon newborn! Both Reeves and Rebecca were bald as newborns. Her Li-Li is already out shopping for bows. :) She is perfect!

Anne, Rebecca's mom, was able to stay with Rebecca through the section and everything. I know Rebecca is so happy to have her here this time! And Mimi seems pretty happy to be around, too!

I think she already has him wrapped around that sweet little finger of hers! Daddy's in love!

I can't say enough how honored I feel to have been there this morning! There is nothing like a baby being born. I can't wait to be a part of this precious girl's life! Tess, you are surrounded by love!
